28/7/23; re The end of the green consensus?
I read the FT daily and value it’s information base. I am , however, slightly irritated by the clear embedded leftward bias displayed by Robert Shrimsley & Jim Pickard. This is subtlety displayed by the use of slightly emotive and signalling language. Also while Tony Blair’s comment on the prospect of rejoining the EU was mentioned; his other comments on China being in the driving seat on its effect on the worlds climate change while the UK is an effective irrelevance and that the UK should not impoverish itself by following green policies with effective nil worldwide effect are ignored. Sensible common sense views are clearly not worth the FT repeating. Unimpressive.

Not enough diversity of opinion on key topics - unlike the sky politics podcast. It’s pretty dry when all the participants agree with each other on everything. It can sometimes come across biased and one sided.

The sound is much quieter than on other podcasts I listen to and often I don’t hear everything when outside. Check out CBC podcasts which are much louder.
