“I have been listening in on this show for about 2-3 months and I have got to say that I really enjoy this show. Edie Sellers hosts this show which has a style comparable to the great Stephanie Miller Show. There is that zeal for the video game topics that she and her co-host (often, the wonderfully candid Cooper Hawkes) bring, that even when the subject matter isn't necessarily my cup of tea, always keep me listening and not skipping ahead - because you never know what they are going to say! Suffice it to say, there have been a few occasions of my trying to keep my morning coffee from coming out of my nose while plugging away at my spreadsheets here at the office!
If you are in the (free!) market for fun conversation about video games and gaming industry news, and heck, the even MORE interesting conversations that follow when the show gets sidetracked by other interesting life topics and the ensuing battles of segues to get back on topic - though definitely not of the "trainwreck" variety, but surely more of a bus ride on gravel road type. This, then, is your show!
In this generation of everyone having a podcast today, please note, this particular podcast is VERY well produced, as the sound quality is top-notch. Though it is not a multimedia podcast, who the heck needs these trivialities when they are just listening at work trudging along through their day. I certainly appreciate the colorful language, as it normally assists my nasal intakes of coffee, that being said, this show is probably not for your 10-year old.
In conclusion, I would like to say, keep up the great work - what you have is a wonderfully fun time that is easily picked up on by listeners. Very nice escapism at the same time as having up-to-date news.”Read full review »
