“As someone who has listened to every podcast I feel obligated to write y'all an honest review. First I will start off by saying that this podcast is incredibly informational and I've learned so much to make me a better hunter and habitat manager. That being said the "Catch a Dream" podcast didn't have much information, but the messages in it will do more good for humanity than all the others combined. Very good episode!
As a whole this podcast is fantastic. It has all the information you could ever want about game keeping, hunting, and fishing. There are a ton of hunting related podcasts out there, but what sets y'all apart from them is the quirks. Everything from the horn sound effects to the interruptions and side tangents. It just really seems like y'all have a good time in the studio and that is contagious. It really makes my workday go a whole lot faster.
There is only a few critiques that I have for the podcast. The first is that occasionally you'll have a guest phone in that can be a bit hard to understand. The second is that the information is very centered around the southeast. I live in the Midwest and some of the stuff in the podcast just doesn't apply there. I still listen to it cause it's entertaining and fun to learn new things, however a few additions could make it more suitable for a larger audience. I'll use the deer rifle episode as an example. Where I'm from we can only use straight wall cartridges and I was hoping for some comments on those, but there was none. Not asking to cater your podcast to me just giving suggestions to reach a bigger audience.
