“Intelligent discourse on games, game culture, and gaming trends—and highly entertaining to boot. Great podcast. I’ve tried many game podcasts and found a few that are good. Gamers With Jobs has the notoriety of being excellent.
As one who enjoys deep discourse (C-Span and The Newshour being other chief podcasts hosts that I enjoy) this is likely my absolute favorite. The shows seem to be getting longer and longer, and yet it always feels that the conversation is over way too soon. For those who enjoy good conversation, stop here and listen. Breakdowns such what makes a villain, what constitutes as a game, and what amounts to good gameplay take the conversation into a space of depth and insight removed from topics as simple as what is currently entertaining to play.”Read full review »
