“Driving through the country my partner will listen at some great ideas and personalities on this show. It does what it is meant to and that aint bad.?
Perhaps I feel its a bit predicable, as are the audience who seem to never tire of asking rhetorical questions hoping for validation and quizzical responses. “We’re all very Middle-Upper-Class don’t you know!” (Even if postulating from a tenancy allotment).. its a bit too saccharin.
Inevitably some of the guest speakers are not so interesting, and sometimes you really do hear the permanent/repeat panelists give the same advice 10 times a year. Unlike the Archers the banality of this regurgitation will not bring me to consigning this to the offending sin-bin as there are regular gems of advice and reminders for the season. But I do wish the class exhibition in this could be weeded out a little bit. Perhaps a few less people sounding like they might just swallow their own tongues with pride wouldn't go a miss. Could it go abroad for example.. Jamaica? Perhaps try an under 30’s audience day? Maybe a fee more panelists with no formal education in the field, unconnected to a TV agent or Gentrified Estate. I bet they have tried some of this but the feel of this show is starting to get a bit repellent at times.”Read full review »
