“I've been listening to Garnett's panel podcasts for several years. It's a new format, but he handles it very well. The new show has a bit of an AM radio vibe, minus calls. It comes off as well-prepared and thoughtful, yet steers into some interesting streams of consciousness from time to time.
As difficult as it is to talk through an entire show alone, Garnett does it without it feeling awkward or forced. Without a roster of co-hosts and guests, the show feels intimate, allowing the listener to build a more meaningful relationship with their host.
