“This has been a great podcast that is so insightful. This tells me stuff I have not been aware of before. I enjoyed hearing what everyone’s family life was like and where everyone was like before Star Trek.
I have found Jonathan Frakes Interview really interesting with family all listening to Jazz. I have actually listened to it twice to share it with my parents. I enjoyed hearing that he worked with Christopher Reeves.
I have enjoyed the entire interview with Brent Spiner and played it with my mom in the car. I found that interesting hearing about his family heritage coming to America and ending up in Texas.
I thought it was interesting about Nana Visitor and family being dance teachers or kids being taught to be quiet at work from an early age. It was also enlightening listening to her being kidnaped at one time. That was news to me that this event happened at all.
I felt like the one that was pretty insightful was the Wil Weaton episodes. I have seen him on Star Trek, Disney’s Flubber, The Big Bang Theory and the YouTube show Table Top. However I was completely unaware of Wil Weston’s family and parents. So it was ensightful and made me feel more sympathetic towards Wil Weaton as a person. It made me feel sorry and wish that we knew this sooner to see more from Wil Weaton. I never realized Wil Weaton felt the Star Trek Cast was more of a family than his actual family. I knew Wil Weaton was tight with the Next Generation cast but never realized even from watching the Convention panels on YouTube how close as a family Wil saw the cast. I never even realized how tight Wil and Jonathan Frakes were on the show. I remember hearing at the 25th Anniversary Panel he would like to portray Riker but never knew where that inspiration came from till this show.
I hope this Podcast continues because I would enjoy to hear more insights beyond just the actors but Star Trek behind the scenes crew members.”
