As much about the craft of creating sci-fi as consuming it
This podcast is hosted by one of my favorite editors and one of my favorite writers working today. Not only do they know how to create great genre culture, they extend that knowledge to asking smart questions that engage their all-star line-up of guests. The interviews are consistently stellar, even when interviewing guests that don't have a history of giving engaging responses to less familiar interviewers. Another stand out segment is the panel discussions with "guest-geeks" who consistently present smart, funny, and generally excellent insights into the topic at hand. Even when I vehemently disagree with the opinions, the presentation is excellent and the conversation leaves me looking forward to the next episode. This show is one of the best examples of 21st century media, and it really adds to the cachet of the overall Wired brand. Get in on the ground floor of this one, someday this will be remembered as the “Inside the Actor’s Studio” of the geek crowd. It really is that good.Read full review »

I have really enjoyed this podcast since I began listening to it about a month ago. They interview some very interesting authors, and they have interesting banter afterwards. The focus seems to be on scifi lit, but they branch into comics TV and movies. I really recommend you check it out.
