Contemporary SF & Fantasy interviews
The Geek's Guide to the Galaxy is a bi-weekly podcast, during which the two hosts John Joseph Adams and David Barr Kirtley interview contemporary Science Fiction and Fantasy authors. The interviews last for about half an hour and are followed by a second half hour of John's and David's commentary. Interviewed authors up to now were e.g. G.R.R Martin, The Tolkien Professor, or Cherie Priest. Especially the commentary section adds a lot of additional material for further reading and exploration. The audio quality is sometimes less than optimal, but hey, the content is great. Highly recommended. Similar Podcasts are e.g. Schriftsonar, or the Incomparable.

Nice podcast. I like how much of the time they give to let their guest speak during the interview, rather than featuring themselves. Nice contrast with many other interviewers.

One never doubts that the hosts truly are...Read full review »

Dave and John make...Read full review »
