“But this show just isn't worth it. While the audio mix is very good, and the acting is acceptable (although the sound quality of the satellite actors is less than stellar) the real problem is the writing.
Not only is it a derivative 'Sailor Moon' concept but it's characters are unbelievable in that they are cliched caricatures which use any excuse to engage in angst-ridden melodrama.
The hero's mentor gives the protagonist less training than a McDonald's employee, the protagonist herself is so incredibly self-centered, immature, and ineffective that it is hard to like her at all. The fact that those traits are portrayed in such an adolescent two-dimensional manner makes it even worse.
The plot, outside of interpersonal turmoil, is effectively absent and the treatment of both the Celtic and Judeo-Christian elements are misunderstood and superficial.
This might be what one needs if they are a misunderstood teenager, but this purports to be art, not art-therapy, and as the creator's commentary verifies that the dark angsty atmosphere will increase and continue for at least another season, I can't be bothered with this show any longer.”Read full review »

“I liked the story line a lot but kissing noises are my biggest pet peeve. Made it through episode 35 but the beginning of 36 was so harsh for me I just can’t finish the series. I just can’t.”
