KISS New Year Celebration in March
Let’s get the schmoozing out first, quite simply Mick & Jon produce “the most” enjoyable Pod on the planet. Too much? OK “one of the most” entertaining Pods on the planet, a MUST listen to all music lovers. I’d previously listened to Mick’s “first wife” Pod & loved it but with this series Mick & Jon bounce off each other with equal merit but I mean that in an obvious Mick is “numero uno dude” way. The stories & insight bring back an era when rock stars/bands lived off the published music media, back to a time of my youth & the feeling of excitement felt when a new edition of NME, Sounds & Melody Maker would drop. It’s hard to appreciate these days but we lived for our weekly fix of new bands, concert/album reviews & tour dates. Mick & Jon lived this excitement from the source, pre social media days when “what happens on tour stays on tour” really meant something (until you spill the beans 30 year later of course). My delayed review is because I’ve been saving up your Pods to binge. Yes of course Mick was correct, I celebrated KISS’s 2020 New Year Eve (pyrotechnical extravaganza) by listening to the Pod on 11th March 2021. Keep rockin guys & to from this KISS episode with Getcha Rocks Off Pod “you’ve listened to the rest now try the best”.

The most recent episode is from 29 July 2021, then they sadly seem to have...Read full review »

Five stars or 5 K's? No, the correct rating (one for older Kerrang! heads) should be a single L. Because it's "one L of a show". Kranium Krunchin' and very, very funny. Make 'em weekly.Read full review »

Love the dialogue, the deviations, the taking the piss on everything balanced with deep emotional insights for the love of metal amd rock, and of course the nonsensical “and there’s more” ... the guys have something special here for all of us who grew up and over-invested our ears and eyes on any...Read full review »
