“Overall I thought the podcast was well researched, presented and written. I was however disappointed in Episode 8 to hear the question “why did she stay” of Vince’s partner who had clearly faced unimaginable abuse and torture at his hands. You have a platform to educate people on the complexities of domestic abuse situations it would have been great to hear this explained instead of perpetuating the cycle of victim blaming. It is not as easy as just leave, there is plenty of research answering this question and I imagine she did what she needed to do to survive. In all, a terrible story well told. I hope Di and all the other victims have some peace wherever they rest.”
