Great Story, Great GM
As a casual fan of the Ghostbusters movies I thought this looked interesting but I wasn't drooling for it- until I got invested into the first season. Then new episodes couldn't come quickly enough. The GM who runs these games has an amazing feel for how to keep a story moving but also let the players play fast and loose with jury-rigged equipment and hairbrained schemes, without ever giving the sense that he's putting them back on the rails to keep them from wandering too far afield. Compared to the D&D show, characterization can be a bit weak- sometimes I forget who's talking to who, without the funny voices and exaggeratedly inhuman mannerisms- but the overall flow of the action carries this podcast.Read full review »

I am a fan of role-playing podcasts and Ghostbusters, and Ghostbusters: Resurrection is a perfect melding of both. The team has an incredible group dynamic and Doug is an amazing gamemaster. I look forward to many more seasons!

Absolutely the best Ghostbusters podcast I've listened to. The best quality blend of Ghostbusters, and Tabletop RPG possible. They keep the feel of the original Ghostbusters movies intact with their own brand of humor and action as well as the unique stories their DM weaves.Read full review »
