“Hi Roz! I love your podcast! I heard about you from Kat and Jethro over at the Box of Oddities.
Short and sweet ghost story for you:
I worked as a stage manager for a few years in LA, and one night I was the last one in the building after a show at the Lyric Hyperion (near the Cavern!). I hadn’t been in the green room for at least half an hour, I’d been shutting down the tech booth and sweeping and cleaning the stage, resetting chairs and tables and props, etc. I accumulated some trash while cleaning up and opened the door to the green room to throw it away. When I turned on the light, I saw the lid of the trash can swinging like someone had JUST pushed it, hard. I was so freaked out! But I bravely threw my trash away and got out as quick as possible.
Later I found out that a previous owner of the building had hung himself in the green room, and that almost all my actors had experiences of their own in that space.
Keep filling my commutes with EVPs and awesome guests and your beautiful voice.
