Description
While Gibraltar Today was live on-air from 1pm, a friendly was underway at the Europa Point Stadium where the women’s national football side were taking on Andorra. Our Sports Reporter Jose Mari Ruiz was at the game and kept us updated during the match.
But today’s episode will be mostly focused on one topic: menopause. The end of a woman’s natural child-bearing years is a moment of transformation. Welcome for some, tough for others. Menopause can be painful, it can damage bones, heart and brain. As our society ages, the question of how best to preserve women’s health during menopause has become more urgent.
We had a lengthy discussed with women's health practitioner and therapist Geraldine Canepa, Dr. Reena Virdi who runs the well woman’s clinic, Dr Ag-nieszka Biel, General Practitioner, with a special interest in Women's Health and Menopause, and MJ Feeke; a nutritional therapist, Board member of Women in Enterprise, and organiser of free monthly menopause cafe meet ups.
