Almost perfect
5 stars for content. Both guys know their stuff, albeit in slightly different ways. They deliver solid Twins commentary, diversionary content sufficient to lighten things up but not detract from baseball, and high general entertainment value. 3 stars for delivery. John appears to have overcome his early inability to talk into the mic, but has a strong propensity to continue to argue points that he's clearly lost, or seems to be holding onto simply for the sake of not admitting he was wrong. Aaron is a guy who clearly has never met anyone he can't talk over, through, or otherwise into submission. Sounds annoying? Well, if you're a sports fan you know this pretty much describes any conversation you've had with a buddy about your favorite sport or team. Most of the time it works, just like an hour at the bar talking sports with a couple of buddies works. The big difference is these guys actually know what they're talking about. The only true disappointment is when they have guests. Not because I don't like the guests, but because it would be nice to actually hear from the guests. It kinda works when when the guest is a member of their inner circle. But when a guy like Howard Sinker is on, who has an excellent perspective on the team, on the media, and on the sport in general, he should be the focus of the show, not just a guy who throws in a tidbit that starts Aaron on a 15 minute rant. Look at the stars. Look at the title. It's the best Twins podcast out there and it continues to improve.Read full review »

Even though I don't live in the area any more, I enjoy hearing about the Twins (even though the team will probably stink next season). Gleeman and Bonnes are great bloggers and they put together a great hour (plus) every week on the Twins. This is a great baseball podcast focused on how...Read full review »

Gleeman really shows his audio chops. He's clearly a fan of podcasts, and knows that structure is the deathnell of the medium. The show is 40% Twins talk and 60% B.S., which is clearly what they're going for. Well worth a listen for any Twins fan or podcast fan, and if you're in...Read full review »

I have been reading and enjoying both Aaron and John's blogs for a few years now, and I have to say, I enjoy their joint podcast just as much. It is great intellectual Twins analysis brought to you by two devoted Twins baseball fans mixed with editorial banter. I regularly listen to several...Read full review »
