“If you already like the Twins this podcast will actually make you appreciate them even more, as two life long Twins fans explore and discuss aspects of the team that provide an honest, sometimes critical, but always insightful view that doesn't always agree with the "spin" found on the team website or from the local media.
The most refreshing thing about Gleeman & The Geek is that they genuinely love Twins baseball and are are not "local homers" who simply parrot the same lame perspective heard from certain newspaper columnists or T.V. broadcasters. Instead they speak their minds and back up their opinions with facts, stats or other strong arguments...which means when they agree it is interesting and when they disagree it is entertaining!
I have never missed an episode and I actually don't like most of the guests unless they can truly add to the conversation (Seth/Nick were ok). I also think John should do a solo episode since we all had to suffer through Aaron's! Although it was better than nothing, so thanks for never skipping a week!”Read full review »

“Gleeman and Bonnes do a wonderful job talking about the various aspects of the Twins and sometimes other baseball teams too. There's a great mix of analysis using advanced stats, the older stats, and just plain what they see with their eyes. Well worth a listen every week.”Read full review »

“Great podcast. The guys know their Twins. That's clear. They also have fun with this podcast and share in a relaxed way. I enjoy how you can almost "feel you're with them" at the bar. I even like the realism when their table is approached by staff or fans. Good on them for...”Read full review »
