“I am someone who quickly gets tired of the stories that pass for news on the major US networks and new-stations. The BBC is refreshing for the world-wide perpsective that it has (and the lack of pop-star updates). You get decent coverage of events in Africa and Asia in addition to very good coverage of US and European political, economic and social news. The twice-daily, half-hour lenght is a good duration and gives me the feeling like I have a good understanding of what is going on for news.”Read full review »

“The good: A blend of reports that broaden's one's outlook. The bad: Much of the reporting is done in a semi-comatose style that could only stimulate the Prairie Home Companion crowd.
