I’m a new developer and learning Go. This podcast is full of great information, and the hosts and guests are fun to listen to and often quite hilarious. Love it!

I started exploring the Go programming language recently, and part of my research when learning about a technology involves searching for community resources such as podcasts. I was surprised to find that this appears to be the only currently active podcast for Golang (as I write in early 2022)....Read full review »

I am new into Go and always learning new things from the go podcast. I do recommend it to all developers out there.

The podcast is good; holy moly to the guy conflating calling go “go lang” with being incapable of not deadnaming people... wow.

Mat Ryer hosts a light, informative take on Go development, full of Mat’s dad jokes and insightful guests, this is the highlight of my week. I always look forward to the unpopular opinions section, which challenges a current development norm with an argument for a better way instead.

Anytime I listen to this podcast, I take so much away than I would in a week learning Go by myself. The lonely journey of being a gopher in Ghana suddenly disappears (till I create my Go community). The humor, education, tips from the expert pannel keeps me coming back. Episode #149 is my fav by...Read full review »

This is by far the best way to stay up to date with the latest news about Go, it offers some great insights about everything around Go, not just the language itself, but also new technologies and tools you can use, and the hosts are really awesome!

I don’t program in Go. I thought that maybe this podcast would be a good introduction to it, but it actually made me think I’d prefer other (more functional) languages. That said, it’s still one of my favorite programming podcasts. Hosts are entertaining, knowledgeable, and give different...Read full review »

This podcast is a great way to get the perspective of a variety of golang developers on questions all across the spectrum. Love that everything is touched on from process to language specs.

Go Time is one of a handful podcasts that I make time for each week. The topics are varied and always interesting. The hosts are entertaining and good interviewers. The guests on the show are always great and it’s an excellent way to find more people to follow. I highly recommend you give it a “go”.

Would have liked to listen to the best of episode but the laser sound effect when switching clips is so loud and annoying while listening on headphones.

Lining in a developing country, being new to programming, not having English as your mother language can be intimidating. You fallow the leaders of the community by a far, by Twitter, blogs, etc. Go Time brings those leaders close to you. Not only you learn with them, but see they are real and...Read full review »

Hosts spend more time talking about themselves and how they are helping the go community (thankful for your contribution) rather than focusing on the topic at hand ... dependencies is the best topic which illustrates this .... I was really interested in that topic and Rus was an awesome host but...Read full review »
