Church Carry Podcast was good but.....
How you broached this subject was quite good. However, I would say that this topic needs to be investigated deeper. If the Pastor is classified as head of the (local) church, when was the last time you seen or heard of a Shepard not carrying a staff (weapon) to ward off evil from the flock? It is no different than carrying a gun to and in the House if God? Why? The people congregate in a church the way sheep gather in a pasture: To be fed, fellowship with like mind, and to be in a place where you can feel protected. Yet we have those in the pulpit who are charged by God preach the Truth of the Gospel who have also shunned their reponsibilities to raise up men in the church to be the leaders and protectors in our our homes - as if we have to ask for their permission to do this . Probably one of the main reasons that if men in a church were classified as animals we would be considered an "endangered species". If we were dig a little deeper and ask Pastors in America, "Who gave us our rights - God or government?" Naturally, they would say, "God, of course". Yet if the follow up question was "If that is true then why don't tell your congreagtions to steward their rights, the same way you tell them to steward their money?" (which is EVERY Sunday in case some of your listeners don't attend church), there would be uncomfortable silence on the other end of that question. My point being is this: You cant have a discussion about God and guns without some acceptance of blame and repentance. I have accepted my portion of the blame and repented to God for it. Now it the Pastor's turn. For if we as men who are Christians in America do not repent to the Lord and take our rightful place as leader, protector and steward of God's word and His rights, we have stark example of the consequences we will face in the near future: Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the Luthern Church.Read full review »

Guys, thanks for always keeping the proper perspective and addressing two things that I hold dear, aside from my family. God and guns, in that order. A great recipe for a victorious life. Well done mighty men of valor.
