“This is well constructed and intriguing. The production quality is high and the case is engaging and told in depth, but the journalism feels sensationalistic and at times invasive. The creators are presenting a clear narrative, and I didn’t feel like there was much in the way of objectivity. I felt like I was intruding on people’s lives for some cheap thrills. This is of course the personal quandary for people with an interest in true crime - to each their own. If you had no misgivings about podcasts like Missing Richard Simmons or Serial, then you’ll really enjoy this.”
