Harassing the closest relatives of a victim is so wrong.

Another great Stuff podcast. Well researched and presented. Definitely worth a listen

Interesting case and well researched. The journalists seem a little too willing to accept statements and arguments that support a particular view and a little too willing to dismiss counterarguments. They may be right, but it’s harder to take them seriously because of it.

Speed of the speech is far too fast. Makes it difficult to take in.

Ticks all the boxes. A compelling listen.

Love Amy! Such a great perspective. And fascinating podcast. Full of intrigue.
SB__21 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/12/21
Amy is so biased it ruins it, ashame Adam didn’t do the entire thing. She will say - Neil has a vested interest in this - yet never once says that about anything re Gail. Amy keeps saying Gail’s story never changed - her story is she never met him and had nothing to do w it - but someone did...Read full review »

Despite being completely unaware of the case, I found this podcast exceptionally rivetting and shocking at the same time. It deserves all the accolades it has received and I can't wait to watch the latest devlopments in the case unfold in real time from here on in! Well done Adam and Amy! You...Read full review »

Could have been a really interesting podcast had it been told as a deep dive into the facts. Instead, the hosts are so biased and determined to insert their own opinions, that you get a tainted and skewed version of the story. The music is loud and jarring, and why do we need to refer to the...Read full review »

Really enjoyed this podcast. Well explained and good pace. Very concerning how people get convicted!

Good story. Might not be the most impartial reporting ever but worth the listen anyway. Please can someone tell what the title music is and who wrote it? I think it’s great!!

Definitely worth a listen - well done to all involved.

Very interesting story. High production value. Journalism could be questioned. Would have preferred a more balanced and investigative narrative. Seemed just to be defensive of Gail’s guilt, rather than presenting to us to make an informed judgment ourselves. Adam also talks pretty fast at times,...Read full review »

This story is so complex and convoluted — so massive props to the journalists doing all the dogged investigation and knocking on doors, in pursuit of the truth. I’m riveted every episode and can’t wait to hear more, especially now with the latest turn of events. Keep up the great work! PS: rockin...Read full review »

A very well produced journey into the dark side of 1980-90s NZ society. An interesting anthropological look into the depths the majority of us would never go, as well as being a well researched true crime podcast. There are many complaints in these reviews about the music - I love the rock...Read full review »

This may be a very exciting story and possibly one of a wrongful conviction yet the way this story was portrayed is hugely insensitive to parties of the deceased, ignores and downplays massive domestic abuse issues and sensationalises a terrible story of brutal murder in the hopes of achieving...Read full review »

I hate the rock riff breaks continually interspersed throughout the podcast. The volume increase and frequency of the music injection is unnecessary and annoying. Otherwise this a ok true crime podcast

Fantastic podcast.

I had to stop listening to this after hearing that Gail left her toddler with a woman who allowed her to overdose. The cake the string of domestic violence and abuse she caused. The podcast obviously wanted us to feel for Gail but I couldn’t so I didn’t see the point in continuing. Innocent or...Read full review »

This podcast explores whether a young woman was guilty of the crime in which she was convicted. The hosts are fair and seek all sides of the story to create effective investigative journalism. Blessings be and good vibes go out to Gail and her family. I’m praying that one day her name will be...Read full review »

I love this podcast! They did a great job speaking with those involved and asked all the right questions. Looking forward to more investigative journalism from these guys!

Firstly, god help me if I get accused of a crime! The grub cop who went to PRISON and caused all this.. well done for convincing yourself you did a good investigation! Not as balanced as other true crimes I’ve listened to but still v good. Music too loud, intrusive and plays for too long at the start of each episode. This is only a minor flaw though and I would recommended.

Loved it! Great journalism. Makes me angry how many innocent people are being let down by the justice department..

Good podcast, the sound mixing is average as, loud theme music. Hey but what do you expect from an amateur company like stuff.
mitchdougiedawg via Apple Podcasts · New Zealand · 12/25/18
Just made it through the first episode. Gail laughs maniacally many times when speaking. What does a drug addict, prostitute felon have to be so happy about? This woman must have cooked her brain cells while cooking drugs on the stove in her kitchen.

Loving this one. One of the best I have heard and I am an addict where true crime podcasts are involved. Well done.

When I listened to the podcast I thought that Amy and Adam would present a balanced view. If you want to listen to one person who wants to believe one side and not take into account any other view, then Amy is your person. There were times where it appeared to be more of an advocate for a guilty...Read full review »

Good podcast, interesting story. In some parts Adam talks way too fast and the music is just awful. Makes it sound unprofessional. Lose the music interludes.
