Another great episode
I love when the topic and guest are equally interesting. Dominic Selwood, author of Anatomy of a Nation, was a wonderful guest. Good voice that’s pleasant on the ears as well as that of host Matthew Lewis (despite him being a Richard III apologist). I so wish there was more recorded history of that time; loved the part about historical King Arthur. Gone Medieval is one of my favorite podcasts.

I love this podcast. It’s easy to listen to, easy to follow, and covers a variety of topics. I like starting an episode and thinking “well I don’t really care about this subject” and by the end I’m enthralled and looking for more info. Who knew I cared about Viking combs? Keep up the great work!!

You don’t tell us what was the capital of Aquitaine or describe the ducal accommodation. Silly oversight. Invest it with some physicality. Make the story concrete.
