Charming, fascinating and engaging
I’ve loved every episode so far and spent a fortune buying the books that sophy and her guests bring to life through this brilliant podcast . Sophy has an brilliant interview style , inquisitive and charming and wonderfully articulate . My favourites so far, Don Mccullin, I’ve extracted some brilliant one liners from him, and Laura Beatty for her subject matter Theophrastus.

Sophy Roberts - who is both a geographic and philosophical explorer - in convo with the best of our generation. Imagine if you’d been able to listen to Freya Stark, Paddy L-F, Bruce Chatwin etc discuss why they travelled and wrote - this is the 21st C equivalent.

Love it. Original, engaging, insightful. Can’t wait to hear the interviews with all the other people on the series website.
