Brilliant, instructive, fun, and thought-provoking
I have been obsessed with this podcast since I randomly discovered it a week or so ago. It is so well-produced and easy to follow yet satisfyingly detailed. I‘d highly rcommend this to anyone with an interest or desire to better understand our current political system, ancient and modern philosophy, and/or ancient Greece. It‘s been endlessly fascinating and entertaining. Love the dialogues and speeches and historical context provided (as a classical archaeologist I would of course love a bit more archaeology to be thrown in the mix - especially during the episode on Sparta! - but I understand that that‘s a very personal preference). Please never stop producing this show!!

Loving the style of orator who is also narrating to original text and then sharing his bold take on popular philosophical ideas. ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve learned more about what was happening in Athens at...Read full review »
