“I love Dr. Becky and all of her insights into parenting. She is helping to make our home a more calm and peaceful place with more connection and respect for one another. I could say so much more about her, but one thing I want to validate is her “hack” in her first episode. My husband and I tried this with out two girls (6 and 4) with cleaning up the playroom. My husband is a huge skeptic of Dr. Becky and I was a little wary as well, but we decided to give it a shot. We closed our eyes and said “I wonder if the girls are going to clean up this playroom? I am so excited to see what they decide to do!” You guys, it worked! Our strong willed girls went to work and THEY took it a step further and they said when we close our eyes “magic fairies” come to clean up our house! They cleaned up everything and they were so excited to show us what the “fairies” had done! It’s our new favorite trick! We don’t use it every night to keep the novelty of it, but we were blown away!”
