“Why I adore this podcast - Jesse David Fox asks smart, relevant questions that demonstrate his knowledge of and affection for his intervieees and their work. Even though many guests are promoting new work, it never comes across as a useless puff piece or junket. The concept is focused, which keeps me engaged in the conversation. I love learning about the craft of comedy writing and performance. And it's an ideal format for getting introduced to new comics, because I get a deep dive on one of their bits, and then I can seek out a longer special with some context and appreciate for what they're doing.
