Librivox recordings are made by volunteers who are sometimes terrible but usually better than tolerable. There’s 60 seconds of ad to skip at start and more are periodically inserted. Podcast apps with FF skipping and with multiple speed settings will mitigate these irritations some.

This is a request to add 'A Little Life' by Hanya Yanagihara. I absolutely find this show exhilarating.Read full review »

Tons of books and stories to choose from. Many classics, plus several titles I hadn’t heard of by well-known authors. Many genres: from children's literature to religious treatises to fantasy to adventure. You’re sure to find something to keep you awake or lull you to sleep!Read full review »

I have just started Part II of this and I am thus far highly impressed with the reader/voice actor — clear, well-paced, dramatic, accents. What a wonderful gift to the public — thank you!

I love classic literature and it is hard to find in OUR LIBRARIES and scarce in the one or two bookstores close to us! Thank you for reading to us the joy of words written in the most appropriate manner. I am very grateful! 🙏🏻💖🍀
