Listen now
Description
In this episode we talk to Lorraine D'Arcy from TU Dublin all about active transport and how to get more people walking or cycling. Lorraine is currently the Sustainability and Research Action Lead at TU Dublin, with a particular focus on Transport & Health. We discuss walkable cities, carcitecture, and how to design better places to live and work from a transport point of view. We also discuss Walk 21, the global walking summit that Lorraine helped to bring to Ireland in 2022. It's a conference that helps people to visualise a more sustainable future for everyone. Not unsurprisingly, Lorraine suggests that we should all walk or cycle more as part of taking more climate action! Walk21ireland.com Lorraine's Linkedin Profile
