A recent graduate in Irish and Sociology and competitive swimmer from Skerries, Steph's love of Ireland and the Irish language is evident throughout this incredibly special and inspiring conversation. During this episode Steph speaks so insightfully about the impact of globalisation and emigration on Ireland, her research on the Irish language revitalisation project, her thoughts on the connection between Irish language and culture, the role of media in regards to the promotion of language and how everyone can engage with the learning and promotion of Gaeilge. Steph also speaks about creating an Irish language community called 'Píosa Me', a social club for Irish speakers and enthusiasts all around the country.
