I have ZERO children. Still, as I listen to Ground Control Parenting podcast episodes, I often find myself thinking about how the subject at hand, the advice given or the point of view espoused corresponds to my own life...and how it applies to me becoming the person that I want to be. I really like the topic - there aren't enough good parenting shows out there, and even fewer for parents of Black kids. I'm not Black, but I still got a lot out of the conversation with Sal Khan. Lots of good guests, I look forward to listening even more.Read full review »

I love this podcast but the one that stood out the most for me was the one with Suzanne Kay! Ms. Kay was the most relatable to me. I love that she spoke her truth and was authentic. Her Mom Diahann Carroll was one of my favorite images of Black Excellence! Keep up the Great work, Mrs. Sutton-Lewis

As a parent of two 20-somethings, the only thing I can say is “Carol, where was this 10 years ago??!!! “. Very insightful and relevant information. Looking forward to more casts.
