Okay, but why?
There’s a lot of good podcasts, with a lot of major big names. The reason why I find Jordan’s goes from good to fan-freaking-tastic is the interaction. Shortly said it’s not boring. I’ve heard so many people interview amazing people, and jus totally flop. Amazing people have been interviewed countless times and if you hear them on one platform i hateeee hearing them basically default and go through the motions of what they’ve said on other platforms. Jordan makes the person he’s interviewing exactly that- a person. Somehow he manages to reach into their life and connect, pull out the wisdom they have to offer, and lead them towards applying it directly to day-to-day life. Yes I love ooober-major-big phenomenal achievers, but if I can’t relate then i can’t relate and the wisdom they have to offer just falls flat. Here Jordan is consistently pulling out wisdom and emphasizing how it’s applicable to my day-to-day life, and I’m all the better for it.
