Macomb County Marianne
There's still time for two, esteemed, white guy hosts to pull themselves up out of the stereotype quicksand. Nicknaming an outlier woman candidate as "floating across the stage" and the "guru" dismissively, obfuscates a potentially interesting angle - that she was a Unitarian-esque preacher in Macomb County for almost a decade... albeit to a constituency of progressive-leaning Macombers. Writing her off may be convenient for the moment, but one can't deny that she zeroed in on one of the key underlying truth of the "sickness care system" - where the system is dependent on bad food and eating habits of Americans to make its margins. Big Agra, Big Sugar, Big Fast Food and more are symbiotic with pharma and health care - at least MW had the cojones to jump into that fray and speak truth to the underlying systemic ills. Elucidate what her first-hand knowledge of, and immersion in Macomb county's soft underbelly might bring to the table, and your audience may well actually learn something besides a superficial dismissal.Read full review »

Combines the best of Radio Free GOP and The Axe Files. Best when you get insight based on their deep experience. Also Murphy’s a funny guy.
