I didn’t know about this story or background to Bruce Willis life until I listened to this Podcast. I found the story interesting. Presented well. The only downside was.....too many ads. I gave it 5 stars anyway ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This podcast is just the latest in her uncontrolled proliferation of garbage content. Don’t waste a second of your life on this nonsense.

Pretty uninteresting and honestly I feel like it did a major disservice to Hailey.

When I came across this podcast, I thought it sounded interesting, so I gave it a try. All but the final episode had been released by then. Wow! After about 15 minutes I was completely hooked and didn’t want to stop. It’s like a great book you can’t put down and stop reading. I had this playing...Read full review »

No, being masculine and feminine is not an “energy” lol!! How observe have we become? We lean fully on hope we feel, a bunch of snowflakes, instead of relying on science and biology and all of history. WHAT IF we actually helped people who were struggling with something? Instead of leading them...Read full review »

This pod and others from these people have the information of one good pod spread out over 6-8 episodes. Should be one pod each story, maybe two, not a whole series. Therefore, they stink.

The description intrigued me, but I have to say I’m really disappointed in this podcast. I’m 5 episodes in and I swear I’ve heard the same information repeated multiple times. There’s so much build up, so much ‘setting the scene’ of what Hailey is like and who Bruce is as a person… but we don’t...Read full review »

I kept expecting something to happen. Nothing does! Bruce Willis moved to a small town. Bought some property, started some businesses, and then sold them. Not interesting. Nothing happens.

The story is fascinating and it’s told in good detail, but the background music is so distracting. It does nothing to enhance the storytelling. There were a few times when I had to just turn off the podcast and move on to something else.

This podcast is phenomenal. It’s a story I was completely unfamiliar with, so each episode is new information. Dana is such a great storyteller and I love the interviews with people close to the situation. Give it a listen, you’ll love it!

There are 5 minutes of ads every 10 minutes. Good podcast ruined by constant ads.

I was interested until I realized this is just another piece of pod-bait. Boring. No real story. It feels like a desperate attempt to make big news out of small news. In the end, I found myself thinking, “Who cares?”

The background music is too loud and really distracting. And terrible.

The guy did nothing wrong. In fact, this podcast makes me like him more. Here is an example of a movie star trying to something nice and jealous people complain about his actions. Want to listen to music to loud? Lift up a town? Take a chance on a movie? Have a personal life? Not without...Read full review »

This started well but soon became a list of properties Bruce Willies bought. What’s the point? No real story here. Disappointing.

This is literally one of the worst podcasts I’ve ever heard. Production value is fine, but this could have been told in 3 episodes tops. Slow, dull, and zero substance. I listened to the entire series as I knew someone that had worked for Bruce back in the day, and had heard stories about both...Read full review »

Interesting story, and I love Dana of course. It can be a little slow sometimes, and the audio mixing is… ambitious, sometimes a bit too much. Its generally pretty good though.

What a great podcast short series! It was well-written and edited, and always kept me interested, curious, and entertained. I always looked forward to when the next episode would drop. Pls make more like these!!

It sounds like Bruce has a savior complex. I mean I always thought he was kinda full of himself but this just kind of confirms it. I still love him as an actor but the thought of him as a person makes me want to wash my hands. Kinda icky.

Last couple of episodes very dull hence 4 stars. Dana is a great host and like the previous reviewer, I think she has a great voice and I listen also to Noble Blood. Please do another mini series, but a more exciting topic.

Dana is an amazing host and the content is interesting, but it it would be more enjoyable with a quicker pace. Feels drawn out.
Rebbruns via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/07/21
Interesting story but the host’s agenda is clearly to make him seem unreasonable and a lot of the examples seem like grasping at straws.
SailorBrunoMars via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 12/06/21
Enjoy the show, definitely interesting. However, every episode they go on and on about who Bruce Willis is and his filmography, and enough about his smirk. We get it. By episode 3 my husband and I were both saying “we know who he is, get on with it”. Other than that it is really good!

This podcast paints a good picture of the collision of Hollywood and small town life. It’s such an interesting and pleasant listen!

Came over to this podcast from Dana Schwartz’s incredible ‘Noble Blood’ and was not disappointed. It paints a great picture, sets facts straight, and leaves room for subtext and interpretation. Truly a very interesting listen

Although I love Bruce Willis this is just so interesting everything from meant to little side detail stories just a great all-around podcast and although it’s semi-one-sided still enjoying its content. Keep it up and keep it coming!

Who knew that a podcast about Bruce Willis could provide an opportunity for accusations of racism and homophobia unchallenged or contested by the host. His assistant was clearly a bigot and racist and should be acknowledged as such. Major fail by the host. I don’t understand why it is so...Read full review »

Love Dana Schwartz’s voice and like listening to her other podcast (Noble blood). I still enjoy this podcasts but the topic isn’t that exciting. Hope she’ll make something else that’s a bit more intriguing soon as I really enjoy listening to her voice.

Living here in Idaho this was an interesting story I had never known and talking to other people here and thing they know make it even better. Like I spoke with a guy that had worked at one of his properties in Haley and his crew was give $500 and a case of beer as a tip.
Deathpool15 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/19/21
Can be accurately described as surface level tabloid journalism but does grant the listener some interesting info about the subject and his career in and out of Hollywood. At times an entertaining listen but the story of Haileywood is the definition of making a mountain out of a molehill.

I first discovered Dana threw Noble Blood, and Hollywood is an incredible addition. The storytelling is excellent, the score is so engaging, it’s just a great listen!

I like this podcast a lot but there are WAY too many sound effects and they are too loud. The amount of times there is a harmonica playing and it’s louder than the person talking is ridiculous. Literally when someone is telling a story where a person is walking they always play footstep sounds....Read full review »

Edited to update - the harmonica in episode 4 is so loud I can’t understand the guest. Unsubscribing. Maybe you can re-release it without a soundtrack. I really want to love this podcast but cant get past the cheesy soundtrack. Hoping they will dial that down for future installments. Love...Read full review »

Highly entertaining and well executed, really enjoy the narration and storytelling—when you can actually hear it. The concept is really good but the same things are said over and over and even after four episodes nothing of note is happening. I know someone who worked for Bruce and their stories are better than this podcast.
ellieall4 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/17/21
Good podcast even if it is not quite as interesting as Noble Blood. Episode 4 background music a little loud. Hard to hear the person being interviewed.

Jerdpaul via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/14/21
No reason this story needs to be told in more than 2-3 episodes. You just drone on incessantly covering the same angles just so you can make this side hustle last longer than it should. I can just read about it online and know everything in 10 minutes.
danbeyer via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/13/21
Dana Shwartz already does an incredible job hosting noble blood , this gem of a podcast though is a welcome departure of a podcast world filled with murder (not that we don’t love some true crime) but this is just such a quirky topic and done in such vivid detail.

I love listening to Noble Blood, and knew that Haileywood wouldn’t disappoint. I disagree with others who feel the soundtrack is too much, I think works well with Bruce Willis’ personality in the 80s and 90s. Dana is amazing and can’t wait for her book to come out early next year. Keep up the...Read full review »
