In this video we're talking about the beautiful topic of hope. Hope is "a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen." When we are hopeful we have an optimistic point of view and live in a posture of joyful expectancy for good things to come. It's estimated that 1/3 people will experience major depression at some point during their life, and many people live in a constant state of despair or hopelessness. Without hope, we struggle to manage stress in our lives and cope with adversity as it comes up. As Christians, we have hope in Jesus. 1 Timothy 4:10 says "For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe." We have HOPE in our living God; we are not lost and we do not need to despair because we have a future and a home with Him, so we can live expectantly for that.
