As the Christmas season rolls around again it's SO easy to get discouraged when you find yourself single, again. The holiday season is full of the cheesy Hallmark movies, cosy dates by the fire (or pool if you're in Australia), and all of the picture-perfect lives we see on social media. This is the first year of my life that I've truly grieved being single and it's been a rollercoaster to say the least! Sometimes it's hard to continue to trust God in the midst of being single, especially when you have such a deep desire to be married. In this video we chat about my journey over the past few weeks going through a real period of grief and exhaustion, both physically and spiritually, my recent Instagram post on this topic, and some practical tips for how to trust God in the midst of these times.
