This is without a doubt the most important message you'll ever hear, so PLEASE don't click away. Many people celebrate Easter without actually knowing the real reason behind the season. We live our everyday lives not knowing our considering our final destination. How often do you think about what happens after death? Life is painstakingly short; like a vapour. The reality, that many of us don't know, is that we are ALL sinners and we ALL fall short of the glory of God. Our sin separates us from our holy, pure, perfect and righteous God. God is a just judge and cannot leave sin unpunished. Romans 6:23 talks about how the wages of sin is death, so we are all deserving of the death penalty. Many people think that their good works will save them, but this couldn't be further from the truth. We cannot earn our way back into right relationship with God; we are all sinners in need of a savior. BUT GOD. God did not leave us in this state of being eternally separated from the Father. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God loved the world so much, that He gave His one and only Son Jesus as a sacrifice, to take on the punishment that we deserved. And THIS is the good news; THIS is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus died for our sins, but he also rose again and conquered the grave. Salvation is a free gift from God that is ours to accept. Romans 10:9 says "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." So, what are you going to do with this good news?
