My Favorite Ham Radio Couple!
I don't normally review podcasts, but since this podcast is so awesome (and Leah told me to) I cannot help myself. The conversation and banter is really spry and super listenable, and it's enjoyable to be the third chair on this pod. I'm an amateur extra but I really love hearing Leah work through the Tech questions, it brings me back to when I was learning. The conversation has great tangents and flows really well. I usually listen during my commute, and it makes it go by a lot quicker. If you could hear me during my drives...sometimes I'm cheering, other times I mentally writing complicated explanations longer than this review expanding on Josh's discussion of how feedlines and propogation works. I never actually send them because I'm not a egomaniac and I also understand what it's like to explain electromagnetic phenomena...to your wife. Speaking of which, the pod is inspiring me to get my wife into it, but unfortunately she doesn't share the same enthusiasm as Leah...yet. There was one time I caught her reading a tech manual, so there is hope! Maybe if she hears this pod, her mind will change! Since Leah asked - I learned CW with Learn CW online (LCWO.net). It's a Koch/Farnsworth trainer that does a very good job training and tracking stats. I also take CW Academy classes, which is also really effective. I livestreamed almost every one of my LCWO sessions, but I struggle to actually make contacts on the air, which is far and above the best way to improve proficiency. I can't wait to hear you on the air! 73, from Sterling N0SSCRead full review »

I’ve been reengaging with the hobby after being away for a few years. In attempting to find out what changes have occurred since my absence, I came across the YouTube channel and now the Podcast. This is what Ham is about, sharing knowledge and being friendly. Kudos, job well done. Jim KD8MTY

Whoa Whoa Whoa!!! What a great podcast! Leah’s podcast has become one of my favorite weekly pastimes! I got into HAM after seeing Leah’s Cohost, Josh on Fieldcraft Survival. This Podcast makes me laugh all the way to and from work. Keep up the great work Leah.... and I guess Josh Jeremy KO4DYF

Did Josh reign on Leah’s laughter parade? Noticed she is not laughing as much. Still love the podcast. The Antennas of November is awesome.
