A Million Man and A Million Woman and A Million Transgender and A Million Immigrants and A Million with at least two years of community college booing Trump at his “ Sworn In” and his parade. No need to hold signs or violence . Form peaceful groups and BOO him relentlessly. Otherwise Josh, a...Read full review »

Started following because of the high caliber guests but the audio is just terrible . I tried to ignore it but I’m too distracted by not being able to listen to interviews clearly . I may come back if the audio is fixed . I thought I was the only one that noticed but I’m not alone .

Josh Horowitz is the epitome of all things ‘geek-culture’ as is his brother Adam Horowitz (Once Upon A Time, Lost). He makes his guests feel comfortable and his friendship and banter with the lovely Tom Hiddleston is unmatched! Those two are especially funny and real together thanks to their...Read full review »

Given the caliber of guests and friends of the show… it’s kind of embarrassing. I’m tired of cranking my volume to max just to make out what folks are saying. This should be appointment listening, given the selection of pods available — but unfortunately due to the inconsistency, now I rely on...Read full review »

I was really excited to start this podcast but I tried to different, recent episodes where audio was inaudible and had to stop. So disappointed.

The guests are great as are the interviews but the episodes I’ve listened to have the worst audio of any podcast I listen to.

I like your podcasts Josh, but the audio is often terrible. Just listened to the Gary Oldman episode which was really really badly balanced and the overall level awful. Your mic was really loud and Gary’s was very low and hard to listen and understand. Please improve this . Thanks

the guests are legendary but the host blows. his questions feel so basic and he’s talking more about himself then an exploring of the minds of these talented artists and their journey.

Hello tried for first time with Nolan Pt 3. Audio dynamic range too wide, from unintelligible to loud. Not suitable for car listening. Tell your audio engineers to compress/limit the tracks to bring them up to a more uniform level. Thank you

Why…why does everyone in Hollywood blame everything on Trump?! I don’t like the guy either but can we figure out how to tell a story or do an interview without bringing him up? It’s like he’s a character people depend on… surely creatives can Create something or someone else to talk about....Read full review »

Fantastic interviewer. Thoughtful, thorough and most importantly hilarious. No matter which actor/director/celebrity is being interviewed I enjoy it a lot.

Halfway thru one of the latest episodes and all I’ve heard Josh ask Elizabeth Olsen about is scary roller coaster rides and how she waits in traffic in her car (surprise! she dances!). What happened to interviews? If I wanted to hear a conversation I’d call my mother on the phone.

The preamble at the beginning of each episode can tend to go a bit too long, but still always engaging and entertaining interviews

This podcast was not on my radar until the Marc Maron interview, when I became an instant fan. So glad I found it. Now I’m hooked!!

Josh is such a wonderful interviewer. As a former actor myself, I really love the wide ranging discussion. Not only do you hear about the actors’ lives and the progression of their careers but also what motivates them.

The dulcet tones of Josh Horowitz’s voice occupy a special spot between my ears with Marc Maron, Terry Gross and Ira Glass. His deep knowledge, provocative questions and profoundly absurd humor place him alongside this Mount Rushmore of Podcast Innovators. A must!

Josh I want to be your best friend! You always make me feel like I am best friends with you and whoever your guest is. So intimate and fun and makes me want more. Loved these interviews most. 1. Sam Heughan 2. Ralph Macchio 3. Brett Goldstein Thanks!

Pretty much whenever you see a big movie-related headline in the news, you can bet that it came from Josh’s Happy Sad Confused interview. I really enjoy listening to your podcast. Happy Sad Confused is my favourite podcast. From the moment I hear Daisy say, “Prepare your ears, humans,” I feel excited and know I’m in for another treat! Josh has connections all over the entertainment world and has the best guests on his podcast. Josh is a great interviewer who asks thoughtful, non ‘run of the mill’ questions that are high in entertainment value. Thanks for the content Josh!

It’s so fun to listen to the conversations the guest have with Josh Horowitz—he comes to the table well-prepared and knowing his stuff, but remains relaxed and normal when engaging his accomplished guests. They are disarmed and the result is that we get to listen in on an unguarded conversation,...Read full review »

Josh, stop saying that Michael Shannon is your spirit animal. It’s cultural misappropriation unless you are American Indian/Indigenous American. Listening to you fanboy over everybody that you interview is enough. But that faux. pas is unacceptable.

Without a doubt. Josh is an absolutely awesome interviewer. Really smart questions and the guests often remark on it and feel his care and genuine love of film and acting.

Noticing a disparity between male and female guests. Not sure the cause, but would love to hear from more diverse actors.

I enjoy the interviews and applaud the thoughtful style, but am appalled at the uneven representation between sexes. About 7;1! Women comprise 50* % of the world—give them equal playing time. It’s boring to hear from so many men being interviewed by a man—you’re only catering to one segment of...Read full review »
