Listening to this podcast is like listening to a voice memo from your best friend. I loved Jeanette’s book, I felt so seen as a homeschooled kid let me tell you. Thanks so much for sharing and being so transparent and reflective. I am so so so excited for future books!

I just listened to the episode about freezing your eggs and I think you are so incredibly mature and forward thinking and intuitive. Honestly, if you don’t want kids, there is no shame in that. Be unapologetically you! ❤️

I was so happy to find this podcast after reading your book. I wanted to know more about your journey and this podcast is exactly what I’d hoped for. You are inspiring way more people than you realize, Jeanette! Your loyalty episode meant so much to me. Beyond relatable and so refreshing to hear!

I loved this podcast - it’s so short and honest and is just so nice to hear about things that people think about and go through in an honest and funny way.

I appreciate Jennette’s honesty and authenticity. She’s also very funny. I genuinely laughed out loud multiple times while listening.

Isn’t life hard enough? Do we really need a famous person’s angry rant about their personal conflicts pumped into our ear holes? I’m exhausted.

Raw. Funny. Entertaining. Authentic. Painful. Addictive. Relevant. Beautiful person. You won’t want it to end.

I enjoyed every episode and felt it was like listening to a dear friend during an epic hours long conversation. Sad to see it go, but hope another project comes along.

I don’t normally review things, but I read a lot of reviews that speak negatively about this podcast and about Jennette and decided to put this out there. I like the podcast! I like the length of the podcast because, while short, it’s like talking on the phone with Jennette about her day or...Read full review »

There have been so many times I have been listening to this podcast and nodding my head, responding out loud (awkwardly, in hindsight), thinking I’m talking to someone who is about to be my best friend because we have so many weird, nuanced things in common. Then it hits me again that the podcast...Read full review »

I read Ms. McCurdy’s book about a year ago while traveling. I remembered her from when my kids used to watch iCarly, and I bought it because of its provocative title. What a breath if fresh air. I’ve been rooting for her ever sense. Her podcast is in the same vein as her book: acknowledging the...Read full review »

I have never re-listened to a podcast but, this has helped me with my mental health problems & problems in general. I struggle with binge-eating or just not eating day to day. Each episode is a short snippet of her life and somewhat a kind of mental health advice moment. Her book is frequently referenced and sometimes topics feel repeated. She can come across a bit snarky, but thats the hard feelings part. I dread listening to the advertisements because you can tell...Read full review »

Interesting but over half is just ads. Wouldn’t mind ads if there was more content but it feels unbalanced.

It just gets annoying after a while. She just talks and talks and talks about herself and it’s nothing earth shattering. It’s a podcast to pass the time but that’s about it.

It’s a five star because it kind of relates to me and I am glad I can have someone who can relate to me like that.🥺🥰🥰🥰

Props to being so vulnerable. It really helps me reflect on my own experiences. Keep living your dreams Jennette!

Some episodes sound a little condescending, privileged, and out of touch. In the social media episode she couldn’t grasp why people film themselves doing everyday things (like ordering Starbucks) and essentially said people who enjoy that type of content need to get a life. Maybe try to dig...Read full review »

Read the book (from the library). Glad I didn’t spend money on it. The book was just OK. This podcast, on the other hand, is far from OK. Eventually the 15 minutes of fame clock runs out. The bad reviews are clearly those who aren’t doing the same internal work and don’t understand. It’s a great podcast, it makes me feel normal, helps me reflect on what I need to move forward

The ability to vulnerably discuss the emotions you are *currently* working through in a peaceful, unfiltered, and “disorganized” way - especially after a lifetime of being silenced - is a win that won’t be recognized by everyone. Stop force-feeding people 'your story.' All this piece of trash does is complain about how life sucked, like 'my mommy forced me to do things I didn't want to do' or 'Dan liked feet and was creepy.' Cool story, but it's time to move on. You've said it a million...Read full review »

I find this podcast very relaxing, insightful, and relatable. I love how Jennette isn’t afraid to be vulnerable. It makes me so happy to see her thrive! I also quite like the length of the episodes, and it’s perfect to listen to before going to bed. I definitely recommend this podcast:)

I can relate to so many of the issues she talks about. It gives me a different perspective on things that I’m working through and even things I had put to rest. I kind of wished the episodes were longer but at the same time, maybe they wouldnt be as effective and memorable. Keep going, Jennette!
