Great but distressing ads
Hearing jennettes perspective on the success of her book and how she’s been coping is interesting. She’s being real and honest. She’s funny and I understand her desire to not always be who she was when she was 13. Just because it was a good time for the audience doesn’t mean it was a good time for her. But the Ads. She reads them with absolutely zero enthusiasm or interest. I felt this way about the audible of her book as well. Maybe directly reading out loud is just not her thing but it’s distressing. And like I know it’s an ad who cares. But it makes her sound so sad and lifeless.

More reviews of Hard Feelings with Jennette McCurdy
Thank you for being vulnerable and deciding to share your thoughts with listeners, So many things you have said have made me reflect back to when I was in my 20’s and early 30’s. From a fellow control freak who felt she had so much to prove, I look forward to more episodes.
