What are the sacred things in your life that you have misused? Pastor Jeff teaches that the most sacred thing that people misuse is their bodies. When you fail to take care of your body, which is a gift from God, you can become spiritually distant from God. You don’t just owe some part of your life to God, you owe Him everything! The entire world around you is His creation, His dominion. Pastor Jeff teaches that when you fail to give God praise and glory for the glory of His creation, He will not look on you with favor. In fact, that is why Nebuchadnezzar was struck with madness, because he believed that he himself was responsible for the glory of Babylon, instead of realizing that its prosperity and power were signs of God’s favor.

Pastor Jeff teaches you today that the gift of prophecy gives you a sneak peek into the way God sees all of Creation. When you are fearful of the future, be assured that God isn’t surprised by your struggles or worries.

When you build your life on the teachings of Jesus, you can withstand the storms and the struggles that the world will use to try and knock you down. But if you build your life on the sandy foundation you find in the world, you won’t be able to withstand those storms.

The day is coming when every person who has ever lived will stand before God to give an account of how they lived their life on Earth. Pastor Jeff doesn’t want you to get things twisted: your good works have no value on their own. You are saved by grace alone.
