“This podcast is wonderful. The hosts bring such a rich history with divinity backgrounds and their passion and love for the characters is palpable.
The show is broken into 4 parts.
They do a summary of each chapter.
They discuss a literary theme throughout the chapter in a meaningful and in depth way that truly allows the listener to view the story in a new and interesting way.
Then then flip through and select a random sentence in the text and dissect the passage through the method of lectio divina, which is a 4 part process of analyzing a passage figuratively, allegorically, discussion of its meaning to you, and the take away message. Which sounds so strange and difficult to describe, but I promise you, this is done so well and with such deep thought that it will quickly become your favor portion of the podcast.
The complete the session with a blessing for that character that is so beautiful and applicable, it will make you choke up a bit.
This podcast is a must for anyone who loves Harry Potter and had a tattered set falling part because you will view these characters and the story in a way you never considered or imagined.
