Harvey: A Must Listen
Phil Rossi's "Harvey" is a fantastic critique of small town life and what happens to a tightly knit community when evil shows up on its doorstep. Calvin Hubbard, the main character, is funny, talented, and a bit lost as he finds himself the stranger under suspicion for the dark deeds that coincide with his arrival. The story chronicles the strained relationships between the townfolk as a bodycount piles up. The final two chapters will leave you reeling and horrified. "Harvey" is a strange mix of country twang, conspiracy, and the birth of a dark god. It should not be missed.

...but I have to agree that it started out great -- first chapter is excellent -- but it is downhill from there. I'm only on Ch 5 tho....

Phil Rossi is a horror author not to be challenged! Like Crescent, this is a crisp, fast moving and graphic depiction of a really bad week or two for a small town and its diverse residents and visitor. Download this book, lest the dirt men get you!
