“I see a lot of good reviews and I am a fan of IdeaCast. But the first episode I listened to, A Conversation with Teens, has annoyed me so much that I'm writing my first ever review of a podcast. Having teens who come from different ethnic backgrounds leaves the impression they tried to have a "diverse" audience. Youngme jokes at the beginning they are representing their generation. If anyone believes kids these kids are representative of teens in the US, well it's why the country is so divided right now. It would be much more interesting, albeit more challenging, to have a group of kids from different classes and/or geographical locations. Perhaps even from the deep south below Delaware? Nothing against Youngme and the very bright, articulate teens but this was extremely superficial and borderline offensive.”Read full review »
