Description
Dr. Alyssa Dweck is an OBGYN with a special interest in female menopausal and sexual health. She has co-authored several books and been on two morning shows. Dr. Dweck also regularly contributes to several magazines and professional publications. Today's discussion walks through age-related fertility and female health issues. Understanding that fertility takes time is important. Dr. Dweck recommends figuring it out by your early thirties and creating a plan with your gynecologist. She also references using cryogenics to freeze eggs, to save them from aging until you're ready to begin the process. Toward the end of the conversation, we shifted to perimenopausal and menopausal health. Even though it may sound scary and overwhelming, it's something that should be explored and discussed with your doctor to make the transition as smooth as possible.
