Throwing out the word “autism” in a nutrition podcast: how irrisponsible
I find nutrition and health podcasts entertaining and sometimes informative, I have no problem with the nonstop and fast paced flow of emphatic statements linking X nutrient to Y ailment and the even more emphatic list of dietary solutions. I mean, who’s against eating a healthy low-sugar diet? However, in both the Sugar and Brain health podcast Hyman, drops the word “autism” mid sentence and lets the listener conclude that a bad diet can cause autism! That’s pretty irresponsible.

All of the information in this “new” podcast is pulled from other shows he has already done. Used to be a fan, but now he’s just part of the machine churning out old stuff presented as new.
