Best Board Game Podcast
Heavy Cardboard is, hands down, my favorite board game podcast. I really like that they focus on games that have some meat to them and don't really discuss the "hip" and Kickstarter games that continually flood other podcasts. The games discussed are very well designed and have wonderful mechanics that take a few plays to fully understand and uncover the inner-workings of the game design. It's a great show for me because I'm on the road a lot for my job. I really enjoy the beginning segments when they talk about their recent plays and new game acquisitions. This really gets me pumped up to play games with my group of friends. The dialogue flows well and this makes it easy to listen to. I highly recommend this podcast even if you don't like the heavier games. I'd still give it a shot because the games discussed are so well designed that there is a lot to talk about. Thanks and keep these podcasts coming!Read full review »

The best podcast focusing on the heavier boardgames. If you are interested in heavy boardgames that are not always wargames these are the two gentlemen for you. I hope they stay around for awhile.
