“Dad is an a-hole. He is rather unsupportive, and jumps her case every few minutes for minor things, and makes excuses for NOT helping her, especially early on. Dad's statements/comments are full of sexist overtones and he insists on working in innuendo in every episode I've listened to. Dad even goes semi-racist in one episode. Their back-and-forth isn't just the sometimes stinging banter between a husband and wife. Dad needs to consider what his daughter will think if/when she ever hears this--and if he would be okay with her husband/future partner talking to HER that way. Wife is a SAINT for putting up with him, especially on the podcast. Would have been MUCH better if it was done by JUST the wife, or the wife and a supportive friend of hers.
I was looking for a candid podcast about pregnancy, bringing home baby, all of that--but this is NOT it.
Can NOT recommend.
