I have no words. Todd is an amazing investigator/narrator. I loved this podcast. My heart was broken at the end.

Agree with others that there are *a lot* of ads - but one of the few shows worth putting up with

I listen to dozens of true crime podcasts and I just came across this one. The host is great. His calm voice and demeanor makes listening to the story so easy. I like that he gives the facts and doesn’t make the Podcast about his ego. He doesn’t denigrate law enforcement or certain groups of...Read full review »

The narrator spends a lot of each episode talking about how great he is. No humility. Exhausting to listen to. Very confusing plot lines - serial killer, deadbeat mum, a kidnapping, the narrator always talking about his own achievements in the middle of it all. Nothing narrated in a clear way.

Incredibly well done. As some have said, the narrator has some bias, but Todd is nothing but honest and true in his passion for finding the missing. I, too, believe in Todd.

Todd and the group have done an amazing job of bringing the stories of Steve and all involved to the podcast! It is such a heartbreaking, maddening, uplifting, interesting story. By the end I had tears running down my face. Thank you to all involved for sharing your perspective.

This is one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to in a while. It tells the tragic, horrible story of a family that suffered so many different ways, but it does so with compassion and warmth. The care given to this podcast is palpable. The host, Todd Matthews, is a precious gem of a man with quite...Read full review »

This is one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to in a very long time. So incredibly well done. Its completely heartbreaking and such a tragic story but I couldn’t stop listening. Such good storytelling but doesn’t take away the sadness. Nice work to this podcast team to honor the victims and...Read full review »

Amazing story! You couldn’t make this up and if you did, nobody would believe it. It’s so sad but has some happy moments as well. It’s just crazy. I loved it!

Wonderfully done in every way.

It became unbearable towards the last few episodes how much bias the narrator had towards birth mother Sandy. She was sure a victim, but she willfully and intentionally put her children in harms way. She might not have known she married a serial killer, but they keep touting how her last marriage...Read full review »

I want updates on the family. My heart goes out to the children of Sandy. They’ve all had trauma it seems but Dorothy. We need more podcasts from Todd. I love his accent. Edited after finishing the series to add: My heart is broken.

This show is awesome but you gotta know they are promoting a show by known Zionists Michael Rappaport. Ewwwwwww

I’m so sad for everyone in this story. And I’m so sad for all of us that Todd is not able to make us more touching stories. RIP Todd. I think you did all that you came to do, and so much more. 💔

I’m at an age where I know every single one of us is amazing but very few of us get to find out what we’re capable of - Todd’s life is an example of a life lived with purpose, authenticity and love. The reason we’ve not succumbed to the darkest parts of human nature is because there are Todd’s...Read full review »

The go- between gets too invested in forcing the relationships. It’s about his desire to satisfy his own needs, plus we could do without his speculation about people’s intentions and thoughts. I think he was biased and unfair to the adoptive mother. He should have bowed out earlier from their...Read full review »

The host seems too sympathetic towards a mother who did little to NOTHING to find her missing children. It seemed a bit Naive?

This was the best Podcast I have ever listened to. I am heartbroken about Todd’s passing. He was truly a hero for this family, and so many more with his database creation. I pray this family can begin to break generational curses that have separated them for so long.

My first podcast was STown, which in podcast years was a very long time ago. In between that podcast and this one there have been many good and bad shows. This one is the best! At first I thought Todd, the narrator and driving force in the narrative, was leaning a little too hard on his accent....Read full review »

A story with twists and turns- I knew Suzie’s story precocious to this podcast , but had no idea how many more layers there were to this story. One thing: Steve’s girlfriend is overbearing - but as the saying goes “men marry their mothers”. His adopted mother is just the same. Let the guy speak...Read full review »

This is a dark, bittersweet, and complex podcast. It began one way, and ended in another. Todd is a gem and I’ve loved every minute of this podcast. What an absolute shock when I got to episode 11. I listened to the first bonus episode just now and was genuinely moved; it was very touching. My condolences to the family.

The podcast is fantastic. The story involves many people in various branches of the same family and the saga that ensues. As someone who has an adopted sister I know how difficult reunions can be. By bypassing his adoptive family his sisters made a mistake. They should have included his adoptive mother in their plans. They acted in their own interest not his. Unforgivable….

This was/is a compelling and sad story of a man with a lost family and identity and an amazingly inspiring story another man with a beautiful soul. My heart goes out to both of them and their families. They have both touched me, deeply.

Wow, talk about taking a turn at the end. This was so good but so heartbreaking. I had never even heard of this guy but his legacy sites are mentioned in every true crime podcast and every police procedural show. To then realize I was only learning about him after he died…just so sad.
